About Tippy Toes

My name is Emma and I am the founder of Tippy Toes Yoga. I am also mum to two gorgeous pocket rockets who definitely keep me on my toes. I am a qualified children's yoga, mindfulness and sensory play teacher. I am insured, trained in paediatric first aid, and DBS checked. I am also a qualified Nursery Nurse and have over 15 years experience working with children in nurseries and schools. I absolutely love teaching children and their grown-ups yoga.

History of Tippy Toes



Like many, I found the times of covid and lockdown very challenging and I had some terrible parenting moments. One sanctuary for me was yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. It gave me some relief from the isolation and exhaustion of the outer world and the anxiety of my inner thoughts.
When the threat of covid had vastly subsided, many of us were left with mental health problems, including children. I wanted to give children and parents support and share the incredible benefits of yoga and mindfulness. I had spent many years working with children so I decided to combine this love with my passion for yoga and train to become a children's yoga instructor.
So, Tippy Toes was born. Teaching in schools, nurseries, and in the community, I share tools to navigate emotion, replace negative thought patterns with a positive mindset, grow in self awareness of mind and body, and feel connected again. I hope that we can all stand on tippy toes together and take a break from the hectic demands of life, to stretch, balance, soothe, and be.
