Home Ed classes are for 4 - 12 year olds and their grown-ups. We welcome everyone whether it be mums, dads, or grandparents. Younger siblings are welcome to join in for free too.
Classes follow a fun theme. Tippy Toes Yoga is interactive, playful, and responsive to children's needs. The structure includes a hello circle, a breathing game, a warm up dance, yoga poses that flow to create an adventure story, mindfulness and yoga games & sensory play, and relaxation. Our classes finish with a snack time for children when parents can grab a cuppa, a treat, and unwind.
Each class focuses on a story that enables children to develop yoga poses and engage with the feelings and situations that the characters experience, such as anxiety, kindness, and resilience. There are positive affirmations that run through the story, which we further draw upon in the visualisations and relaxation at the end. This helps children to explore their inner world and to establish a positive growth mindset.
